The Journey
In 2013 Faf du Plessis, avid cook and wine fanatic, enjoyed a sumptuous dinner with four good friends and enthused about a shared vision they had – to make wine exemplified by non-negotiable standards of quality and craftsmanship.
Faf went on to introduce this dream and vision to fellow cricket legends, AB de Villiers, Mike Hussey and Stephen Fleming and, together with world-class winemaker, Wynand Grobler, Infinity Wines was born.
Today these excellent wines are enjoyed world wide by fans, friends and families.

The Wines
The First XI range consists of three wines:
The Partnership
The flagship wine of The First XI range. It is a Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot-based blend produced from the highest quality grapes of the best terroirs of the Cape Winelands.
The Partnership is available to order.
The Belter
Rhône-style blend. A perfect reflection from the Rhône varietals.
This wine was launched in September 2015.
The Centurion
Cinsault. This wine is produced from old, un-irrigated bushvines planted in 1954. These bushvines were selected for its uniqueness and prominent terroir flavours.
About Faf
Francois "Faf" du Plessis is a South African international cricketer and the current captain of the South African national team across all formats. He has a passion for South African business and has gone to great lengths to find companies that he believes in and to invest in those companies.
